The needy lawyers of the High Court with 10 years or less practice will get financial support from the association. The guide line for financial assistance was fixed in the lockdown of needy lawyers and Munshi of the High Court. Strict rules have been made for this so that no one can take advantage of it wrongly.The monitoring committee has prepared a proforma for this, which can be downloaded from the website of the High Court Bar Association.

Applications for financial assistance by 24 April 

Needy lawyers with practice of ten years or less can apply for help by downloading the application form from the High Court Bar Association website. Advocates with five years or less will apply with their senior's name, advocate roll number, mobile number. Advocates of five years and above and below 10 years will also give details of the three cases they have filed in the last six months, besides proforma other columns to be filled.

 The Monitoring Committee has decided that financial assistance will not be given to the lawyers in the panel of the state government or any government and non-governmental body. Lawyers whose wife or husband are in government service will also not be entitled to help. The solicitor seeking help will also have to tell whether he is an income tax payer or whether he has ever sought medical help from the High Court Bar Association. Apart from your Advocate Roll Number along with Proforma, necessary information will also have to be given to the Bar Council Registration Number, High Court Bar Membership Number, Bank Account details etc.

 Help for people over 10 years will also be considered

 Newly elected president Amarendra Nath Singh said that the Bar's Welfare Fund is still short of funds. In this head, three members of the committee have started with Rs 50-50 thousand. If more money comes, financial assistance will also be considered for lawyers with more than 10 years of practice.






Munshi will have to apply through their association - 



The Advocate Clerk (Munshi) must contact the Monitoring Committee for help through their association. They will have to give their name, phone name and name of the advocate under whom they are working in the application.

 Senior advocate of the committee will give 50-50 thousand


 The committee has also urged the members of the bar to make grants in the Association's Advocate Welfare Fund according to their wishes and abilities. Senior advocates in the committee VP Srivastava, Rakesh Pandey Babua and Amarendra Nath Singh have also decided to give a grant of Rs 50,000 each to the welfare fund. Also appealed for cooperation from other members. The committee has urged the District Magistrate Allahabad to issue a general order that no tenant be evicted from the house during the lock down and if the lawyer makes any such complaint, the police should take immediate action. The meeting was attended by Elder Committee member VP Srivastava, High Court Bar Chairman Rakesh Pandey Babua, General Secretary JB Singh, newly elected President Amarendra Nath Singh, newly elected General Secretary Prabhashankar Mishra and Chief Permanent Advocate Vikas Chandra Tripathi.
